Our Story

Why This Foundation Exists

Treasured Housing Foundation didn't start with a business plan. It started with a lifetime of watching families lose their footing — and knowing, hands-on, how to help them get it back.

A Message From Our Founder

This Started Personal

I've moved more than twenty times. I've built homes from the ground up and remodeled many more — years in the trades doing commercial and residential HVAC, restoration work, even running percolation tests the summer after high school. But the reason I started this foundation isn't in any of that. It's in the people I've watched go through the hardest seasons of their lives.

I've seen up close what military service asks of the people who give it. I've stood beside people I care about as their marriages ended and their housing disappeared almost overnight. And I've helped get children out of a dangerous home and into somewhere safe — close enough to see how thin the line really is between a family in crisis and a family with nowhere left to go.

A while back, I took a month away from work to remodel a home for someone who needed it — pulling out tripping hazards and making it safe for them to stay in the place they love as they grow older. I had the skills to do that. What kept sitting with me afterward was how many people don't have anyone who can.

That's what Treasured Housing Foundation is. I'm a licensed general contractor and a real estate broker, and I've spent my career learning how homes get built, bought, repaired, and kept. This foundation is where those skills go to work for the families who need them most — survivors, veterans, seniors, and anyone caught between a crisis and a safe place to land.

The Same Story, Told Twice

The people this foundation serves are the same people I've spent my life helping — professionally and personally. That isn't a coincidence. It's the whole point.

I've seen what service asks of those who give it.

Why we run a Veteran Home Repair program — and why I earned my Military Relocation Professional designation.

I've watched people close to me go through divorce.

Why we support families through Divorce & Displacement Transition — backed by my Certified Divorce Real Estate Specialist training.

I've helped get children out of a dangerous home.

Why Domestic Violence Housing Support sits at the center of what we do, coordinated with The Dove Center.

I've remodeled a home so someone could age safely in place.

Why we fund Senior & Accessibility improvements — and why I hold the Seniors Real Estate Specialist designation.

This Started Personal. It Can Become Yours, Too.
